Your temporary sample store

Demo privacy & limits.

Use fictional details. Please do not enter customer information, passwords, private URLs or other sensitive content.

Real software, fictional evidence

New workspaces run Frictions Free 1.1.2, with the matching Pro companion in the Pro edition. The recordings are supplied fictional examples. Replay controls, filters and local review actions use the actual plugin. The demo adds temporary access, edition switching and reset controls.

Bookmarks, notes, saved views and investigation changes belong only to your sample store. They are not shared with other visitors or copied to a purchase.

What is limited

Email, external requests and real purchases are disabled. No customer account, payment or license connection is created. Optional compatibility sharing, newsletter signup, licence activation, plugin installation and unrelated WordPress administration are unavailable. Set those up on your own store after installation. Any alert preferences you inspect apply only to this demo; no alert or digest is sent.

The supplied recordings demonstrate protected structural playback and observed event categories. They are not recordings of real shoppers or a measurement of your store.

Your workspace and cookies

An essential secure cookie connects this browser to its own demos. WordPress uses separate login and interface-preference cookies for each workspace. No marketing signup is created. The temporary database holds your practice changes. The demo gateway keeps random session identifiers, edition, start and expiry times, and status.

To limit abuse, it keeps keyed hashes of a browser identifier and network address. These are not used for marketing or cross-site tracking. Two editions can be open per browser, with four workspaces available in total and up to eight starts per browser or network per hour.

Ending a demo

Access expires after 30 minutes. A cleanup worker removes the temporary store. You can also reset or end it from Your demos. Abuse-limit records are removed after one hour. Session records are removed after their first 24 hours once cleanup has completed. The gateway cookie expires after 24 hours. WordPress cookies may remain longer but cannot reopen an expired demo. Operational failure logs may be kept for troubleshooting.

Website privacy and contact

The demo is operated as part of Frictions.com. Website hosting, security and contact details are described in the Frictions privacy policy.
